Bad Company 2 Coming March 2, 2010 With Limited Edition

by Andrew Reiner on Oct 29, 2009 at 06:46 AM

Come March, some gamers may finally be crawling out of their five-month long Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 comas, and may in fact be looking for another game to play. Why not Battlefield: Bad Company 2? The first game rocked (at least I thought so), and I've enjoyed what I've seen/played of the sequel. The game is dated for March 2, 2010. Yes, that's a long ways off, but Electronic Arts is pushing players to commit to it early with today's announcement of a limited edition. Oddly, it will be sold at the same price as the standard edition (can we make this happen for all special editions?), yet comes with six game changing perks not found in the standard edition. Players who purchase the limited edition will receive the M1911 pistol, the M1A1 submachine gun, a tracer dart pistol, improved vehicle armor that reduces damage from explosive and penetrating warheads, an additional mounted weapon for vehicles, and a vehicle-based motion sensor that can locate enemy units even if hidden from view. Check the trailer below for all of the mind-blowing details.
