New Ghost Recon Almost Banned In Australia

by Ben Reeves on Oct 26, 2009 at 01:54 PM

What, you didn’t know that Ubisoft had another Ghost Recon game coming down the pipe? We’re not surprised. Last year the company teased the fact that it was working on a new entry in the popular Tom Clancy series, but details (or even a name), have been scarce. Until now.

Apparently the game will be called Ghost Recon Predator. The game recently popped onto The Australian Classification Board’s online database where it received a MA 15+, which is the highest rating a game can receive in that country. Ghost Recon fans might want to move to Australia, because it looks like they are either receiving advanced copies of games or time machines over there.

It’s possible that the Australian Classification Board jumped the gun a little bit and started making up its own game names, but for now Ubisoft has declined to comment on this rumor.
