PC Version Of Saw Digital-Only

A trip to your local retailer is not an option for those of you who insist on tackling Jigsaw’s twisted puzzles with a mouse and keyboard. Saw, which was released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at the beginning of the month, is going to be available for the PC exclusively through Steam.

Steam’s website displays Konami’s newest horror foray as releasing sometime later in October. Saw isn’t the first Konami game to give North American store shelves the cold shoulder, however, as last year’s Silent Hill: Homecoming also hit Valve’s digital distribution service.

Though Steam may be helping you play Saw, once you're playing the game you're actually going to want to avoid the it. The scalding gas is like vaporized rag-doll poison that reduces you to a crumpled mess on the ground.

Not sure if Zombie Studio’s video game treatment of the annual horror series is for you? Check out what we thought of the console version.

  • This game was crap on the consoles, but I guess people who are not informed will see it on steam and be ecstatic.

  • This picture looks like Nico Bellic from GTA4 is in the trap....

  • Bet the game is not good.

  • Oh no! What will PC gamers, and people who care for that manner, ever do? Okay, my sarcasm is over..... it's just such a tragedy is all.

  • Lame on all fronts.

  • Wow. People who like games like these are mental.

  • This seems like it could be interesting. Taking a movie such as Saw, and turning it into a game. Judging by the SS that's up here though, it's graphics seem like they could use some work, to be honest.

  • crazy *** o.o

  • I haven't played this yet, but it is on my Game Fly list. It seemed like it might be worth a play through at least. And at the same time, I already know it will probably be crap. You can't take a movie like that and make a good game, I just don't think the mechanics are there.

  • I have never been into horror games.
