Guybrush Threepwood Forever Remembered In Statue Form

by Andrew Reiner on Oct 15, 2009 at 10:12 AM

These days, it seems every statue based on a video game is either Metroid or Halo. Are space marines insanely easy to sculpt, or are people really buying 20 different poses of Samus Aran. Scratch that last question. Joe's desk confirms people want 20 poses of the same character (his lady is KOS-MOS). Well, Symbiote Studios laughs in the face of Joe's desk, and offers gamers of a different ilk a statue of their own. Today, gamers can go to Symbiote's website to pre-order the coolest statue I've seen in quite some time, a Monkey Island inspired piece that depicts a battle between Guybrush Threepwood and Pirate LeChuck. Symbiote Studios is only creating 1,000 units of this beautiful piece (and I just ordered one), so don't delay in breaking the bank if you can't live without it. And if you order now, you can save 50 percent off on the equally-cool Sam and Max statue.
