SNK Revives Arcade Classics On PSPgo
Today SNK Playmore Corp. announced several classic anthologies now available on the PlayStation Network. This includes Metal Slug Anthology, SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1, The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga and Samurai Shodown Anthology.
Metal Slug Anthology includes the complete collection of the military-themed run and gun series that first appeared on Neo-Geo machines and has been around for more than 10 years. SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 includes 16 titles including Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury, King of the Monsters and other classics. The King of Fighters package has five complete games (KOF ’94 through ’98) while the Samurai Shodown Anthology will include all six games of the series.
Each game is available for $19.99 at the PlayStation Store and can be downloaded to your PSPgo. Now we can only hope Sony’s latest doesn’t meet the same fate that SNK’s Neo-Geo Pocket Color had.
