Our Favorite Pokémon Finds On Etsy

by Haley MacLean on Aug 06, 2016 at 08:05 AM

With the popularity of Pokémon Go and the release of Pokémon Sun & Moon just around the corner, the franchise is as hot as it’s ever been. Along with this resurgence comes an influx of Pokémon-themed merchandise, and if you happen to be scouring the web for the best Pokémon gear, you’re in luck. From Pokémon bath bombs to Kanto badges of your very own, we’ve collected some of our favorite Pokémon items on Etsy into one helpful list.

Indigo League Badges
iCollected has made the dream of every Pokémon Red/Blue player a reality by making a real-life set of the Indigo league badges. Instead of diligently fighting every gym owner like Ash, you can purchase the pins for $3.86 each (or $15.56 for the set of 8) and cut out the middleman. In light of Pokémon Go’s popularity, the store also has sets of team Valor, Mystic, and Instinct pins, as well as badge sets for other regions such as Kalos, Johto, Hoenn, and more.

Bulbasuar Planter
For the grass-type Pokémon trainers, this Bulbasaur planter is ideal. This 3D printed item from Madarakis’ shop comes in eight different colors (including glow-in-the-dark) and three sizes including classic for $11.42, mega for $22.86, and giga for $45.73. We recommend planting Showy Evening Primrose so it will look more like its pink-flowered evolutionary brothers Ivysaur and Venusaur. Also in this shop is a similarly designed Oddish planter.

Cubone Skull
Every suave archaeologist has an animal skull or two in their study, but what about the super nerdy archaeologists? Fear not, for 3DorDie has made a 3D-printed Cubone skull for such a purpose. Whenever you glance at this item on your desk or shelf, you can be reminded of the heart-wrenching fact that Cubones wear the skulls of their dead mothers as helmets. This item comes in a huge variety of colors, and is priced at $12.00.

Pokémon Battle Shadow Boxes
If battling is your favorite thing about Pokémon, check out these custom shadow boxes With your choice of any two Pokémon from Fire Red or Leaf Green by Decor8bitArt. They go for $45.00 each, and offer the choice between a black or white frames. You can also customize the Pokémon’s name, gender, level, and background design. The rest of this shop is worth checking out as well, with shadow boxes for other video game classics such as Mario, Zelda, Street Fighter, and more.

‘Little Ghost Pokémon Girl’ Print
Illustrator Heather Mahler often chooses video game characters to draw in her distinct style, including past prints of Mario, Starfox, and Link.  One of her newest prints features a trainer with her three adorable ghost Pokémon, sporting with her own Pokémon tattoos and fitting purple tinted hair. Pokémon Red/Blue Inspired Doormat

Sized at 18x24 inches, it comes in your choice of three colors: sepia, green, or grey. The shop also offers a larger 24x36 inch size for $29.99 as well.

Pokéball Bath Bombs
From BerwynBettysBathShop comes the Pokéball bath bomb. Priced at $5 each, each bath bomb is colored to look like a Pokéball and is smells of whipped vanilla, raw sugar cane, and heavy cream. Inside each Pokéball is an additional surprise; tossing it into the water and allowing it to bubble away reveals a small Pokémon figure. Shouting “I choose you!” as you throw the bath bomb into the tub is optional.

Pokédex Phone Case
If you want to really look the part while out playing Pokémon Go, you might want this Pokédex phone case by AnimaSpiritus. Available for various iPhone and Samsung smartphones, this case transforms your cellular device into the original fact-spurting Pokédex from the Kanto region of the anime. Priced at $58.76, the case is 3D-printed and can even feature the team Valor, Mystic, or Instinct logo on the back.

Pokéball Shift Knob
Literally kick your Pokémon catching skills into high gear with this Pokéball shift knob from KFMShiftknobs. They are offered in five sizes to fit most cars, but the store warns they might not be compatible with some automatic transmissions. A Pokéball knob costs $25.99 and includes a locknut to help attach it to your car. Since playing Pokémon Go while driving is a definite no-no, use this knob to get your Pokéball fix instead while hitting the open road.

Evolutionary Stone Charm Bracelet
It’s safe to say if this last item existed in the Pokémon anime, the Eevee Brothers would definitely be interested. From BadWolfCosplay’s shop is a Pokémon evolutionary stone charm bracelet priced at $22.00. On a 7.5 inch silver chain hang all nine evolution stones, as well as the everstone that prevents a Pokémon from evolving. Other Pokémon-themed items are in this store as well, including bandanas based off characters from the anime, and team Valor, Mystic, or Instinct shoulder bags.
