Replay – Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
Crash Bandicoot is back! Well, kind of. Sony is remastering his first three games for PlayStation 4, and he's also making a cameo appearance in Skylanders: Imaginators. Fans didn't get the new Crash Bandicoot game announcement that they wanted, but as they say in this business "it's better than nothing."
In celebration of Crash's return, we're revisiting one of his finest adventures, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. Although it may not offer up the challenge of its precursor, this sequel offers a wider range of stages, some that include vehicles like hover boards and jet packs. We dive into a number of stages and do our best to show off the variety that this sequel brought. We also discuss the series as a whole before jumping into another gem from yesteryear. This second sequence is one our best yet, as it brings one surprise after another.
