Replay – Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko

by Brian Shea on Dec 04, 2015 at 02:00 PM

While the N64 rightfully receives a ton of praise for its library of acclaimed 3D platformers, the original PlayStation had some great franchises of its own. From Crash Bandicoot to Spyro the Dragon, fans of PlayStation had plenty to enjoy when it came to polygonal platform jumping. One of the games that came out of that boom is Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko.

Though it was pretty good for its time (we scored it an 8 out of 10 back in 1999), it hasn't aged so gracefully. Luckily for you, we brave the awkward camera controls, cringe-worthy one-liners, and rough soundtrack for your viewing pleasure. It's not great.

Stick around for the rest of the episode to see us play a few matches of the original Tekken and then watch the final cutscenes for each character. We hope you enjoy the episode!
