Replay – Super Mario Galaxy 2
It was a big week for Nintendo. Another wave of Amiibos sold out, the New Nintendo 3DS finally released stateside, and a new generation of 3DS players now have the chance to play Majora's Mask. We're continuing the Nintendo love on Replay with a look at Super Mario Galaxy 2. Originally released for the Wii in 2010, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a straight-up sequel that offers more world-bending stages, adorable costumes, a tougher difficulty, and the inclusion of Mario's loyal companion, Yoshi.
Kyle Hilliard, Game Infomer's resident van lover and red head, was nice enough to bring in his Wii U so that we could take a look at some of the game's tougher levels. We discuss all things Mario and Nintendo in this episode, transition to a brief look at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, and then return for a final segment that kicks off a new series of videos for Replay and Game Informer in general.
And the voting for our fan-selected Super Replay has come to an end. We received thousands of votes over the course of two weeks, and were shocked to see the competition was just between Conker's Bad Fur Day and Secret of Mana. The winner ended up being Conker's Bad Fur Day. It won't be our NEXT Super Replay, but it will be coming soon. Thanks go out to everyone who voted! Enjoy the episode, folks.
