Destiny - Xur's Gear And Upgrades For The Weekend Of January 16

Xur is back in Destiny’s Tower, and this week he's brought one of the most sought after weapons in the game. We hope you saved your strange coins for Icebreaker.

The Agent of the Nine can be found in the Hall of Guardians (go down the stairs toward your Vanguard reps, and he's on the left). Here’s what he’s got this week:

Ice Breaker (exotic sniper rifle) - 17 strange coins

  • Solar
  • Attack: 302/331
  • No Backpack (Icebreaker regenerates ammo, but you can't hold extra for it)
  • Mulligan (Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine)
  • Ice Breaker (Enemies spontaneously combust, dealing damage to others around them)

The Glass House (Titan helmet, The Dark Below) - 13 strange coins

  • Defense: 407/447
  • Light: 30/36
  • Rain Blows (Increases melee attack speed)
  • Quintessence Transfer (Replenishes super energy when you kill an enemy with a grenade)
  • Bathed in Light (Blessing of Light and Weapons of Light last longer) 

Achlyophage Symbiote (Hunter helmet) - 13 strange coins

  • Defense: 407/447
  • Light: 30/36
  • Fastball (Increase grenade throw distance)
  • Ashes to Asset (Replenishes super energy when you kill an enemy with a grenade)
  • Last Man Standing (Golden Gun gets an extra shot)

Obsidian Mind (Warlock helmet, The Dark Below) - 13 strange coins

  • Defense: 407/447
  • Light: 30/36
  • Energy Projection (Increase grenade throw distance)
  • Inverse Shadow (Killing enemies charges super energy)
  • Insatiable (Nova Bomb kills reduce the cooldown of your next Nova Bomb)

As usual, he also has exotic shards (seven strange coins), the Urn of Sacrifice (one strange coin), Sparrow upgrades (twenty-three strange coins), and telemetry for scout rifles, shotguns, and hand cannons (one strange coin). There are no engrams or heavy ammo synthesis this week.

  • Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan chest)
  • No Backup Plans (Titan arms)

  • The Last Word (hand cannon)
  • Plan C (fusion rifle)
  • Pocket Infinity (fusion rifle)
  • Thunderlord (machine gun)
  • Gjallarhorn (rocket launcher)
