Weekend Warrior 08/29/2014

by Ben Reeves on Aug 29, 2014 at 02:00 PM

To celebrate the beginning of a new school year, Game Informer is diving into the console version of Diablo III's console release. None of use will celebrate by going back to school.

Tim Turi: I’ve finally made it to the last boss in Rogue Legacy. Given the entire game’s brutally steep difficulty, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the final boss is giving me a hard time. Guess I’ll have to spend some time grinding while watching something cool or listening to a podcast. Also, I’d like to dive back into Diablo III: Reaper of Souls on the PS4 and splatter some more fools while getting better gear.

Andy McNamara: After I play some Diablo III, I may play some Diablo III, followed by some Diablo III. Oh yeah, and some Walking Dead Season 2 in the mornings. It's gonna be a great weekend.

Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm going to be adventuring out to my lake place for one last summer fiesta. I'm not planning on bringing any games with me, but I'm looking forward to playing my N64 (mainly for Smash Bros.) and arcade machines out there. It should be a good time. What are you going to be up to? Also, how are you doing? I like your shirt.

Jeff Cork: Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition on PS4 has been monopolizing my free time over the past few weeks, and it looks like it's going to continue its reign over the weekend. I'm going to level up my Witch Doctor now that my Wizard is level 30 paragon. As much fun as it is firing lightning and summoning triple-headed snakes of doom, I miss all of my pets. I might start up a Demon Hunter, too, because I clearly don't have enough going on in my life. Sigh...

Andrew Reiner: I'm spending a fair amount of time with my daughter outside (or as I like to call it "the old world"). When she goes to sleep, I'll be playing Diablo III, The Walking Dead: Season 2, Stick It to the Man, and Hearthstone. Potential movie watching includes The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Alex Cross.
