Replay – The Simpsons: Hit & Run
Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series has spawned countless clones over the years, just like The Simpsons has spawned countless crappy games that aren't worth playing. Mix the two together, however, and you get something magical for anyone who considers themselves a fan of America's favorite dysfunctional family; a chance to explore a virtual, open-world Springfield, and interact with the series' many iconic characters and locations in The Simpsons: Hit & Run.
Andrew Reiner, Ben Hanson, Jeff Cork, and I take a lengthy tour of Springfield as we discuss the cartoon's decades-long impact on pop culture and point out the myriad show references we see along the way. We also help Marge with a few errands, return some "borrowed" property to Ned Flanders, and set off on a quest to buy a surprisingly expensive pair of underwear. What other Springfield citizens make an appearance? And which ones get run over? Watch the video below to find out.
