by Jeff Marchiafava on May 31, 2014 at 06:42 AM

In the latest issue of Game Informer, we gave readers a step-by-step look at how to replace the PlayStation 4's paltry 500-gigabyte hard drive with some bigger and better alternatives. But who wants to read when you can watch an instructional video instead? Watch on as I take you through the entire replacement process, while trying to ignore how awkward it is being on camera.

The video takes you through five easy steps: downloading the system software, backing up your game saves, replacing the hard drive, initializing the drive, and restoring your game saves. Rather than searching for Sony's site to download the system software like I did in the video, you can simply click here.
