Scene At The Consumer Electronics Show 2014

by Ben Reeves on Jan 10, 2014 at 03:05 PM

With over 150,000 attendees and two million square feet of exhibit space there was a lot to see at this year's CES. Even if you were there, you probably didn't see it all. Come with us as we take a blurry tour through the four day conference.

Cool, let's see what's on display at the Gaming Showcase!

Stern Pinball was at the show, displaying a new gaming technology that they are calling Pinball

One of our nations leaders in the field of consumer electronics

Here's Sony's booth. They were showing off a lot of TVs, audio systems, and the PS4. Now that I look it it, this picture seems kinda lame. Sorry

During the show, this giant alien Rubik's Cube dropped out of the sky and crushed six people

...when they emerge from the rubble, they all looked like this

I guess split ends are a real problem at CES

In one corner of the show, visitors got a chance to play the new gaming system, the Atari 2600

Okay, you caught me. In one corner of the show was this shrine explaining CES's history with the gaming industry. Before E3 existed, CES was where gaming innovations like the NES, Tetris, and Tomb Raider were first shown to the world.

This booth had a bunch of dancing animal. No one else at the show saw them dance, but I swear they were moving...and laughing at me

These guys came to CEC to really seal some deals. Get it? The stand is called "Worlds Best Sealers" ...do you get it? ...It's a pun.

This was actually inside the convention center. I saw it and I was like, "Woah, this doesn't look like it belongs here. It's like a recreation of a city street!" But everyone else walking by was like, "pfft, whatever."

Cowabunga dude! Seriously, did you get the sealer joke yet?

Here you can see a containment cell for baby dinosaurs who are too stupid to realize they could fit through the bars

They'll try to juice anything these days. This stand was right next to the Demon Juice stand. Dan Brown is currently writing a book about it. This caption makes no sense

This is the part of CES where they keep the 1980s

If you still have an organic dog nose then you need to get with the times

Cars of the future will get great cell phone reception

This man was trying to use this device to grow hair; his head exploded from lies after I took this picture
