Discussing The Best Wii Games Of All Time

by Kyle Hilliard on Jan 07, 2014 at 05:30 AM

Nintendo has abandoned the Wii, fully embracing its future the Wii U. The console may not have been beloved by all gamers, but there were some undeniably fantastic games that released for the system.

We counted down a full list of of 25 best Wii games in the latest issue of the magazine, but for the purpose of this video, we took a quick look at some of our favorites that floated near the top of the list. Join Tim Turi, Ben Reeves, Dan Ryckert, and myself, as we spend a few minutes on some of the best and celebrate Nintendo's console entry during the previous generation.

One of our favorite games, the first Super Mario Galaxy, is noticeably absent from this video – but not without a good reason. We recently played the game in an episode of Replay where we lavished heaps of praise on arguably the best 3D platformer ever made. You can check out that video here.

You can also check out a similar discussion where we take a look at the best games that released for Nintendo's previous handheld, the DS, by heading here.
