For the past two years, Game Informer has collected the staff's favorite songs and published a Spotify list to share with our readers at the end of the year. Given the positive feedback, we're doing it again!
Not all readers have as eclectic taste as we do, so we want to offer some guidance for fans of particular music genres. For hip-hop lovers, we have strong assortment of rhymes including Uptown XO, MC Eiht, Danny Brown, Marion Band$ (of GTA V fame), Earl Sweatshirt, Ka, and Kendrick Lamar.
Punk/metal fan should make sure to check out The Bronx,Kvelertak, Red Fang, FIDLAR, DZ Deathrays, Hooded Fang, and Obits.
If you prefer dudes with beards and/or skinny jeans strumming guitars and a heavy dose of melancholy, we have more options for you than Iron & Wine and Polyphonic Spree have band members on stage. Kurt Vile, John Murry, Volcano Choir, and the inimitable Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds all make appearances.
