Causing Chaos Through The Years In Grand Theft Auto

From its beginnings in 1997, Grand Theft Auto has been a game that is just as much about its open sandbox world as it is about its story and characters. Doing what you want in Grand Theft Auto's world has always been welcome, and we decided to take a look at how it has changed over the last 16 years.

In the video below (which you can also see on our YouTube channel), you will see what ignoring objectives and morals has looked like over the years in Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto II, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Grand Theft Auto V. Cheat codes were employed, but only weapon and armor codes. The only exception is San Andreas, where it seemed appropriate to activate the fat code.
