The lights are on
If you've been following our month of exclusive coverage for The Order: 1886, you've already learned about the gameplay and story and met the knights that will fight alongside Galahad, but we wanted to let you know where this ambitious new IP came from. While visiting Ready at Dawn, we spoke with creative director Ru Weerasuriya and chief technology officer Andrea Pessino about the development history of their PS4 exclusive. We cover a lot of ground: why they were inspired to pull from history, pitching the game to Sony, the benefits and struggles of building your own engine, and the pressure of debuting the trailer.
Watch the video below to learn the full story behind the game's development and which Emmy-award winner will be co-writing the game.

I want this game so bad.
Andreas must spend alot of time not doing his job then.
Pretty excited about this :3 Dat PS2 Controller @_@
Wow. Potentially the next great series of the next-generation. Seems that 2014 is getting the next-generation's Bioshock in terms of novelty. Nice.
"If I don't do my work, I will do push-ups"
When I saw that mounted on their wall in the video, I was like:
"Hmm... I wonder how this would work in my class... What an interesting concept. No wonder the one guy is so buff."
Stop it, stop doing pushups
I'm pissed I still haven't gotten this issue, I was really looking forward to it.
Andrea Pessino looks like he bench presses semi-trucks instead of making video games!!! That said, this is my must-have title of 2014!!
that guy sounds like optimus prime lol xD !!
Great video. I am super interested in this game.
Love the theme of this game, my personal selling point for a PS4.
That Andrea guy has huge guns.
*snaps back to reality* Anywho, I'm intrigued by this game, but cautious too. For all they say about "the sky's the limit," great tech doesn't = great game.
Shut up and take my money. This game is looking great!
What if Naughty Dog, Ready At Dawn and Santa Monica combined for one game, what would that game look like? What would it look like?!?!?!?
