The lights are on
Talk to anyone who's played through Psychonauts, and you're bound to hear one of two things: "That game was awesome!" or "The meat circus can go #@% itself!"
Majesco released Double Fine's game in 2005 on the Xbox, with a port coming shortly afterward on the PlayStation 2. One of my favorite parts of the game is how each of the levels – which take place in another individual's mind – are cosmetically unique from each other. Some offer completely different gameplay, too, which I won't spoil here for people unfamiliar to the series. All you need to know is that Psychonauts is awesome, and the meat circus isn't really all that bad.
As always, we'll be updating this Super Replay on Sundays and Thursdays until the end credits roll. Let us know what you think in the comments!

Cool first episode of this Super Replay. Thanks dudes! Jason Jason!
Good episode. Tim "The turing Machine" Turi was very into and quiet this episode (which can be a blessing, those puns..). But this game is certainly entertaining. One game I would definitely watch again is Grim Fandango. This one sort of reminds me of that.
Also Riener as much as you want to punk Dan at Tyson you have to admit Dan's progress was markedly better than "First Blow" Joe. I am not a big fan of Ryckert but he definitely has better reflexes. Also I am surprised how supportive Cork has been to Dan, because I remember Cork making fun of Dan a lot in his trials lol.
Two words: The Milkman
I'm not sure how this will turn out as a Super Replay. It's by no means a bad game, but it is so dialogue heavy and having people talk over it makes for a garbled mess.
I have to admit that it was a pretty lackluster first episode, but I'm gonna keep watching this no matter what.
I love this game! I bought it when I got the chance, and fell in love with how funny and eclectic it is. Each if the levels are unique and the stuff hidden in each character's subconscious is fascinating, and sometimes unexpected. Sasha and Linda are my favorites to explore, because of how unexpected the settings in their heads are. The individual psychic powers are fun, and I enjoyed the characters and the art style. I just wish there had been a sequel, because this game just screams for one. I would love to know what happens next, and I really felt cheated by the masses when I heard that this game didn't sell well. This game ranks alongside Beyond Good and Evil, Sleeping Dogs, and El Shaddai on the list of oneshot games that totally deserve sequels.
I'm definitely already enjoying this SR, but I do have to say you guys already missed some stuff.
The voice of Billy....FTW!
I'm definitely intrigued after watching this episode! Also, nice Labyrinth reference, Ben. And I would LOVE to see a Conker's Bad Fur Day Super Replay. Make it happen!
MGS Super Replay!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES! Finally! I love this game.
I'm really excited to see Psychonauts! Thanks for putting on subtitles for the speech--part of this game's charm is the funny dialogue.
Please do The Misadventures of Tron Bonne Super Replay.
Oh... it's one of THESE games. Y'know... GOOD ones :) Dang! I keep forgetting they do these in Super Replay. Oh well; Psychonauts is certainly no Cyberia or Overblood (what game is though?), but I'm sure this will be fun anyway.
