The lights are on
Talk to anyone who's played through Psychonauts, and you're bound to hear one of two things: "That game was awesome!" or "The meat circus can go #@% itself!"
Majesco released Double Fine's game in 2005 on the Xbox, with a port coming shortly afterward on the PlayStation 2. One of my favorite parts of the game is how each of the levels – which take place in another individual's mind – are cosmetically unique from each other. Some offer completely different gameplay, too, which I won't spoil here for people unfamiliar to the series. All you need to know is that Psychonauts is awesome, and the meat circus isn't really all that bad.
As always, we'll be updating this Super Replay on Sundays and Thursdays until the end credits roll. Let us know what you think in the comments!

I recently started playing this again myself. It is FREE on Gamefly Unlimited PC Play. It looks like an HD remake when the resolution is to 1080 and played on an HDTV. I love Replays, keep up the great work my gaming nerd friends.
Holy crap this is awesome!
I saw this and immediately felt the urge to play it again. Cleared it 100% in a little under 16 ours all from memory. The meat circus wasn't too bad. Only died three times and it had nothing to do with the camera.
Still haven't finished my downloaded copy. Gotta correct that!
One of my favorite games ever. Every level is just pure brilliance.
Guys, if you don't have the Psychonauts Vault Viewer app, then you really need to get it (it's free). Basically, it's every vault from the game but what's awesome about it is that the artist and Tim Schafer do commentary for each slide.
Wow. Never played this game but I think it would have been amazing back in the day.
Great Replay, remember to try the crow's feather, it's a pretty cool item that you can use in a lot of places.
The new powers you unlock with figments are nice to make fights easier and help you reach new places...
I got this game recently through a humble bundle, but had yet to try to run through it. This replay has inspired me though, and I'm now playing an hour at a time before each episode. Glad I finally had an excuse to try it, game is great, and your super replay ain't to shabby itself.
damn this game is too good i'm gonna stop watching this a redownload my steam version and finish it then watch the replay o.o
Richard Steven Horvitz voices Raz, and to me, it's always sounded almost exactly like his Zim voice from Invader Zim. Which is good, because I freaking loved Invader Zim.
Funnier commentary then last episode, but you guys made almost no progress this episode. This is gonna be a long one and hopefully Dan can spice up the commentary in future episodes.
Heh, had the same problem trying to find Sasha's training chamber when I played for the first time a few weeks ago. Honestly, this is gonna be a LONG Super Replay at this rate though. Haven't even made it to, uugh, well, that fantastic part. (*spoilers avoided*) Anyways, such a terrific game, it's no wonder that it's probably gonna make for the best Super Replay ever. I would BEG Tim Schafer for a sequel to this.
This is one of my all time favorite games and I'm so glad you guys are doing it for super replay, but please, for the love of god chill out with the collectibles. Just concentrate on playing the levels in stead of hunting down every last figment and arrowhead.
Ben Reeves is driving me nuts but he needs to be on every episode of this S.R. I've never played this game but it looks super weird and awesome. The weirdness of Psychonauts coupled with Reeves is like being in a video game loony asylum. It's awesome.
