How Microsoft Is Courting Indie Developers

At Gamescom 2013, Microsoft fully unveiled their plan to court independent developers. To counter-act Sony's colossal push to bring smaller games to the PlayStation 4, Microsoft built the ID@Xbox program to help independent developers create unique games for the Xbox One. Heading up this new program is director of independent developers at Xbox Chris Charla. We spoke with him immediately after the announcement at Gamescom to learn more about ID@Xbox.
