The lights are on
Gamescom 2013 has shut its doors. With record-breaking attendance and no shortage of news to come from the event, the German gaming convention has solidified its place in the industry. Sony and Microsoft continued their duel on the way to the console launches this fall, games were announced, and fans got their hands on the hottest upcoming titles. Game Informer's Mike Futter, Tim Turi, and Ben Reeves spent the week in Germany absorbing everything that the show had to offer. On the last day of their visit, the three of them sat down over breakfast to talk about what stood out for them.
Watch the video below to learn more about the show itself and which games were the best on the floor from three Game Informer editors on a rainy morning in Germany.

Aah... I'd sell my soul to get to Gamescom... or E3... or any major gaming convention really.
Watching this video made me hungry.
"Hanson go eat!"
TenCent picked up Smite for distribution in Asia. No one but Hi-Rez seemed to think it was big news, though
Nintendo killed Sony and MS at gamescom
I really enjoy these videos, they are informative but also fun to watch great job Hanson!
Its sad, but I think I prefer a video like this to the podcast, actually. There's something about seeing the guys making their occasional digs at each other that just feels better.
Not that I'm not going to keep listening to the podcast, obviously; huge sections don't work for a video format (the call-ins, for example) but still...
Really nice to see Mike in the video. Also the food looks really good.
