The lights are on
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is one of my top ten games of all time, and I've wanted to take it down to the Replay room for some time now. That's why I got so excited when Reiner came by my desk to let me know that it was this week's episode. Alucard's 1997 adventure is a classic that plays as well today as it did 16 years ago, and is considered by most to be the best entry in the series.
Once you're done with Symphony of the Night, stick around for an import game in a new Reported segment.

The "Konami Classics" Volume I (with this game) is one of my favorite purchases on the Xbox 360. I realize the irony in that, but yeah, that game is just timeless.
This is tied with Super Metroid for second best game of all time.
Why is this video not on Game Informer's YouTube channel? Top Shop is,but not this for some reason.
Great episode as always. I completely lost it when Cork was "narrating" in the second segment! XD
Best weapon is the Crissaegrim. No contest. The Shield Rod is awesome, and fun to play with, but the Criss is just too good. Not only is it devastating in terms of damage, but the ability to attack while moving is awesome. Dracula all but runs away the moment you acquire this sword.
I bought Castlevania Symphony of the Night on XBLA awhile back and absoultly loved it. I never got around to beating it due to other games coming out but I need to go back and play through it. I would love for you guys to do this as a Super Replay. The side-scrolling ones are always my favorite and I think this would be a great one to pick to do. The Reported was a good pick but honestly I would not play it to much. Still that one dragon ball like punching move was sick.
