The lights are on
Capcom knows that the unveiling of Dead Rising 3 at E3 2013 had some fans worried that the wacky spirit of the series was left behind for a more gritty take on zombie survival. The team's hands-on demo at Gamescom 2013 let players explore the gigantic new environment while wearing a shark costume, a suit of armor, or while cruising around in a flamethrower-motorcycle/plow wearing a bull mask. They don't want fans to worry: the insanity is in full bloom. We spoke with the game's producer Mike Jones at Gamescom about the game's Nightmare difficulty mode and their comedic take on the open-world formula.

I'm glad to see the improvements over the last two, I can't wait to play it on launch day!
So... if hard mode is too much, I can just make it into easy mode by playing through the game on normal mode first? Makes sense. But other than that, I'm really looking forward to this.
This guy should be happy his QA team isn't spending time trying to run through the game in a minimalist manner. Sounds like they could be too damn busy running test passes and finding bugs.
This just looks insanely fun many ways to play walking dead gritty style or off your trolley in crazy costumes with mad weapon combos roll on November :)
This actually looks really awesome, it's fixing everything I hated about the other games and keeping the wackiness I loved.
