Live Stream – Silent Hill: Downpour / Majin And The Forsaken Kingdom

by Andrew Reiner on Jul 23, 2013 at 07:18 AM

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Konami didn't release a new Silent Hill title. In a week with no notable new releases, today's Game Informer live stream is revisiting two random titles that probably fell off of your radar, if they even showed up as a blip in the first place.

The first game we are playing is Silent Hill: Downpour. Game Informer's Tim Turi didn't enjoy his return to the foggy city streets, but did have some positive things to say about Vatra's direction for the series. I purchased Downpour on the day it released, but I couldn't get past the first room due to a glitch that wouldn't allow me to open up a door. I've been itching to play it every since. Today is that day.

We're following Downpour up with a look at Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, which Ben Reeves calls an "an experience that you won’t soon forget." The plan is to play both games for an hour each. If we grow tired of them earlier than this, we'll call upon a surprise third game.

Our live stream begins at 4 PM CT today. Click the link below to join the fun. As always, we are following the stream's chat and will do our best to answer as many questions as we can.

The live stream is over, but you'll be able to catch the recording soon.
