The lights are on
While Titanfall is also being released for PC and Xbox 360, the developers at Respawn Entertainment are focusing much of their attention on getting the game up and running on the Xbox One. Since the Xbox 360 version of the game is being developed by a separate unnamed developer, the relatively small team at Respawn is working closely with Microsoft on locking down the features and specs for the next-gen version of their impressive new game.
Watch the video below to hear studio co-founder Vince Zampella and producer Drew McCoy talk about how the team is taking advantage of the power of the Xbox One and some of the new features like cloud computing.

man, I don't even plan on buying an X1 sooooooo yay.
It's funny that the more I see of this game and the Xbox One, the less I want either. I just gotta keep thinking "Project Spark and Forza, Project Spark and Forza!"
Wait and see PC purchase for me.
That looks awesome.
I hope this game does decent, but only because I want Respawn to get a good start on their first game. A new game developer is always good.
this and project spark and forza are the only reasons i want an xboxone i hope titanfall for 360 is good
this game is gonna be awesome
Microsoft's dedicated servers are the most compelling argument to choose an X1 over a PS4. On Respawn's website they go into detail why dedicated servers are superior to P2P. I'm convinced, but still not convinced enough to get an X1 over a PS4. One reason is I don't know how large the community on XBL will be compared to PSN now that MS has shot itself in the foot and apparently lost a lot of customers in spite of their DRM reversal. Another is I don't need or want Kinect. If MS had just focused on putting out a better gaming console I probably would choose the X1. But because they want to be all things to all people, and are charging more as a result, they've probably lost me as a customer.
