The lights are on
Known for his colorful and eccentric taste in game design, Goichi Suda (better known as Suda 51) has become his own brand in the industry. His work on titles like Killer 7, No More Heroes, and Shadows of the Damned has turned him into a gaming rockstar for his devoted base of fans. While at E3 this year, Game Informer's Kim Wallace had the chance to speak with him about his new project called Killer is Dead.
Watch the video below to hear Kim and Suda 51 talk about assassins, love, and the origins of his fixation with death.

This game looks...interesting.
Suda knows how to make an action game, man that gameplay reminds me of classic Devil May Cry so much!!
I hope the game turns out fantastic. Had my eye on it a while back, then lost interest for a while. After watching the interview, I'm actually kind of excited for this. Oh, and Suda looks like a totally chill dude.
No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned were ridiculous and so fun and this definitely looks cool. Kim did a great job and Suda 51 was totally not how I expected him to be and that's awesome. But I gotta know, how many takes were there because of Kim's sailor-ish approach to language?
I"m looking forward to Suda 52's next game.
The man who stole her ears."
Has any sentence better summed up what a Suda game is?
This game looks sick I definitely going to purchase and good job on the interview Kim.
I hope this game gets a lot of sales. I'd like to see a return in popularity for Japanese gaming.
Suda knows whats up
I want this game so badly!!!!
Sounds interesting. I might have to check it out.
Suda 51 is certainly an interesting guy. I just hope his ambition isn't underplayed by the way his games handle. Lollipop Chainsaw was alright, but it had major technical shortcomings. I almost had to turn off my system because Juliet glitched out during the final battle for like 5 minutes and I couldn't move
Well done interview. I have always had a soft spot for suda51's games. I am excited for this one as well.
Well done K-Star.
This guy has a fascination with the macabre...And he delivers it with panache in his games!
You're an assassin and an undertaker. Do you get a discount if you hire this guy? Two for one package!
First interview I've seen with Suda 51, very cool looking game. Kim is awesome, keep up the great Game Informin!
