The lights are on
Fans of Retro Studios have been waiting a long time to hear about the next project from the talented team in Austin, Texas. Looks really good.
honestly, i wish retro was in charge of doing a new 2d mario instead of nintendo, look how much more effort is put into this games design and art style compared to new super mario bros. Its not even close, retro absolutely destroys what nintendos main team has done. Put them in charge of a new 2d metroid ala super metroid and make it with hd sprites. would be *** AMAZING
The game looks good but please for the love of all that is holy, make the game playable! Please don't make the game so hard I want to throw my controller.
The title makes me want to run down to AM/PM for an ICEE or to Dari Mart for a Parrot Ice. Mmmm. Strawberry.
This will be the game that gets me off my lazy butt and buy a WiiU. I challenge any of you to find a better 2D platformer these past few generations than Donkey Kong Country Returns. This game looks like it will surpass DKCR on so many levels.
In the end, I'm glad that Retro decided to keep roll'in with their formula and keep dish'in out the Kong on us. Platformers are just what the Wii U's made for and Metroid's just plumb out of ideas at this point. AMAZING graphics there. Like the Viking owl touch too. Games need more owls.
This looks amazing, but i wish thay were working on metroid or yoshi
Nintendo dishing out another platformer? I'm good with that. They basically created the genre.
Looks pretty cool definitely.
