The lights are on
To spare you an hour of executives reading scripts and Aisha Tyler trying her hardest to be entertaining, we wanted to share our gut-reaction impressions of Ubisoft's E3 2013 press conference. Game Informer's Kim Wallace and Kyle Hilliard were slightly underwhelmed, but some interesting game announcements came form Ubisoft's big event. Watch the video below to see them share and discuss the highlights, which includes Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, The Crew, and The Division.

I liked the games they presented, except for the Rabbids game. I just really don't like those things. They could have used a better host for the event but overall the conference was much better then I thought.
No Mr.Caffeine at least.
I'm excited for both AC4 and Watch Dogs. Assassin's Creed games are always fun and I was very impressed with what I saw from Watch Dogs, which surprised me because I had no interest in it prior to E3.
Ubisoft always seems to try too hard to be entertaining and funny and just end up embarassing themselves.
The Crew was what I got excited about. I don't even know what The Division is and I couldn't care less about AC:BF and WD.
I've grown distant from Ubisoft over the last few years... surprisingly I enjoyed what they showed and think I might actually look into their titles again!
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is one of those games that everyone claims to want and then they will eventually release it and it will have the same tepid sales and luke warm reception the first one did.
You can say the exact same thing about Mirrors Edge 2.
The lack of Beyond Good and Evil was definitely a letdown. Dunno why they somewhat teased it before the show, seems like a really odd decision in retrospect.
AC4 already looks like it is on course to be more buggy than ACIII from what we saw during the PS3 conference.
Ubisoft was the worst conference this year
Thankfully, the showings have all been decently strong thus far.
Entirely with ya Kim and Kyle. Gotta say, outside of being surprised with the existence of "The Crew," I probably won't even remember what Ubisoft showed off this year. I'm still stoked for Black Flag as a game, but the coverage for it seemed so pointless given it's what we already know/have seen. At least Ubi kept their dignity this year and kept Mr. Caffeine at home. Though I do admit, The Crew needs a DLC "doodly doodly doo" sound effect.
I liked what I saw of the crew and the division. The rest of the conference was ok but nothing special.
Why is it as the years go by, ac gets more buggier and buggier! The smoothness of the original and ac2,gone, the character don't even walk like an assassin anymore!
Division looks awesome for now, don't care to much for watch dogs, rather get gta5
Great recap, thanks Kim & Kyle.
