The lights are on
Grand Theft Auto III was the first entry in the series to feature a 3D open world, but it wasn't the first time that the development team tackled the concept. That honor goes to the N64 game Body Harvest, which DMA Design released three years before GTA III. Watch as Reiner, Dan, Tim, and I go on a bug hunt and learn a thing or two about maps.
Body Harvest was a long-delayed game that featured a hero who could battle buglike invaders on foot or in a variety of vehicles. It hasn't aged particularly well, but it was ridiculously ambitious for the time (1998) Our adventure meanders a bit, thanks in part to a few issues with the game's navigation system (Tim was on the sticks!). As bad as we thought the UI was in Body Harvest, it did little to prepare us for the roulette game. That one's an indecipherable mess that must be seen to be believed.

This Replay was an awesome pick. I had no idea about this game or the history of it. I found this to be very entertaining and worth watching. The gameplay looks awful but this show made me want to go out and find the game. So, I found Body Harvest and got it for 4 bucks. I have to agree with Reiner that the game does remind me a lot of Defiance. The roulette was absolutely hilarious and the game was so random! I had so much fun watching you guys play it. This is one of the best roulette episodes to watch.
