The lights are on
Amidst our coverage of the upcoming Infamous Second Son, we thought that it would be interesting to look back on the creation of the original game in the ongoing series. As a stand-out new IP on the Playstation 3 and a studio-changing game for the talented team at Sucker Punch Productions, Infamous' three years of development is a lot to cover in one video. The team shed light on their other pitches to Sony after they finished the Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (one of which has a familiar name), the challenges of development, and what the studio learned from its release.
Watch the video below to learn from studio co-founder Brian Fleming and game director Nate Fox about the spark behind the Infamous franchise.

I liked the first one a lot. It had a lot of issues but it had this uniqueness to it that I think the sequel destroyed completely. The beast was a chump, the secondary bad guy was an equal chump and this new Cole was not the same at all. Can't explain it but the morality choices were still the same black and white things until the final choices and the pay off was flat. Although the evil ending had a slightly more impact than than the good one.
So not a day one purchase for me. I will wait for some reviews. I am sure the extra glossy is going to give it high marks.
i think they should still come out with a game that has that idea of nasty little things but change the monster idea into hunting them down and killing them and when you level up you can get some of the monsters ability's and you get a tattoo with your ability and when you use your ability's the tattoos interact with you, the world, and things around you
Like Infamous a lot. Hope PS4 keeps it com'in.
Hope Infamous second son has a good plot like Infamous 1 and 2.
Excellent game series, love the ability to choose between being a hero or villain. Open world hero games like this, Crackdown and soon to be Saints Row 4 have only increased in quality and can't wait to get back into it ^.^ we'll see if PS4 wins me over
Sucker Punch: A fist outta nowhere.
Seeing and playing Infamous for the first time, that's the feeling I got. I enjoyed the free running "raiden" character on screen.
These folks have talent, and watching the video I really liked their pitch for Nasty Little Things. It had an interesting concept inspired by different cultures that think certain tattoos provide protection, power, or luck to their wearers. Hopefully, after Infamous Second Son, Sony will give these guys more freedom to explore and green light other creative games they have in the pipeline.
inFAMOUS was fantastic. I still mess around in it from time to time.
