The lights are on
As an exclusive to the new system from Sony, Infamous Second Son is planning on taking advantage of the console's unique strengths. Developer Sucker Punch Productions will not only use the advanced horsepower of the PlayStation 4, but they are also hoping to further immerse players by using the touchpad on the new DualShock 4.
So what does the next generation of hardware mean for open-world games? Watch the video below to see the developers of Infamous Second Son explain the new possibilities and talk about the pressure surrounding the reveal of both their new game and the next PlayStation.

not the biggest infamous fan but i mean i liked them enough to rent and this one alrdy sounds better.
I'm really looking forward to this. The thought of a new Infamous coming to the PS4 just makes everything better.
I still wish they would put in a Captain Smoker from One Piece outfit for the game, but the game is worth getting the first day if there is any preorder incentives.
Stuff like this might just help Sony win the next-gen battle this time around.
Im gonna miss cole's transportation methods. For example if you don't feel like running to an objective, just take the train or train tracks or power lines or you could just swing building to building like spiderman.
It is nice to see how excited developers are about the new hardware. I really hope that excitement leads to a good execution and I hope we get some cool, new games with the launch of the next gen systems. Infamous Second Son looks great and I can't wait to see more about it and the PS4 at this years E3.
I was planning to hold off on the PS4 for a year and get it once it really had some legs.
Sucker Punch is ruining all my plans..
This new character looks like a total ***! Still gonna buy the game regardless though.
can't wait for this...loved infamous 1-2...
Well that's a bunch of bologna. I'll admit I played the 'good' story first because I am naturally a good-sided person. But I played both the good side and the bad side for the sake of seeing both storylines develop and because I wanted the trophies. It was unique to have Cole sacrifice himself for the greater good of humanity but saying that this is canonical doesn't feel right.
I don't like where this is going :(
i know it is silly, but i'm not a huge fan of the beanie. however i AM a fan of infamous. i hope this is great.
The story's unrelated right? I still haven't played 2.
cant wait for the ps4 i hope they make a video like this for the new killzone
