The lights are on
This year's Super Replay Showdown ended with an unexpected dance-off between Ben Reeves and I. Even more unexpected was my fleet-footed rise to victory, but my triumph comes at a terrible toll; I now have to grind my way through the original NES installment of Ninja Gaiden, an infuriatingly challenging platformer whose unrelenting annoyances are matched only by the stupid cackling of GI's resident clown, Dan Ryckert.
Will I be able to overcome the multistage boss battle waiting for us at the end of Ninja Gaiden's long and treacherous road? Will I be able to resist the constant urge to bludgeon Dan to death with my microphone? We can only take it one episode at a time, but I'm putting the odds for both at 50/50.
Join Andrew Reiner, Bryan Vore, Dan Ryckert, and I for the inaugural episode of what may very well be the first never-ending Super Replay.

That was a surprisingly enjoyably first episode.
Jeff M. on a whole Super Replay? Yes please.
Great progress, Hangtime! Keep up the good work!
Nice. Entertained. Well done.
Really gotta hand it to Dan for guiding Jeff through this so effectively. Great job!
I hope you guys read this before ep. 2 of this awesome super replay. This ep brought back such great memories for me. I still remember this game like it was last week so here is what I think I can remember about where you guys had some issues. Both in lvl 5.2:
1. if you have spinslash powerup, if you hold either up or down, I believe it to be up though, it cancels the spinslash so you can hit lanterns without wasting chi.
2. im pretty sure you walk of the ledge. that's was my first instinct when you got there.
Good Luck with the next ep. I'll be watching for sure.
Damn bats! Lol...love Jeff M's nemesis :)
"Is that a turkey leg or South America?" ...Dan you are awesome.
Also, you're doing a great job JeffM.
Oh man this will be great!
