The lights are on
It's almost been five months since Nintendo launched the Wii U. The system hit with some solid first-party offerings like New Super Mario Bros. U along with ports of popular games like Batman: Arkham City and Assassin's Creed III. Wii U owners haven't had much new to play since the console's release, and to make matters worse titles are being delayed and canceled. So are you still happy you have one?
Wii U owners have been hit with some bad news. Rayman Legends is no longer a Wii U exclusive, and the game was delayed to line up with PS3 and 360 releases. The Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines was also canceled following the game's dismal reviews. That may seem like a blessing more than a curse, but it still stinks that Wii U owners don't get the chance to try the game out for themselves. Additionally, Nintendo still hasn't made it possible for former Wii owners to transfer their old Virtual Console purchases over to the Wii U for play on the GamePad.
With all that in mind, do you Wii U owners still feel good about having purchased it? If you haven't bought it but were initially tempted, are you still thinking of picking one up?

My Wii U broke :(
I love my Wii U. Like others have noted, I have a Wii U for the first party exclusives that I know will come out. It takes time for a system to ramp up. Look at the 3DS & the Vita. It took like 1.5 years for things to really get going for either system.
Plus, I know that Nintendo games will be quality - I'd MUCH rather have quality over quantity any day. Plus, I have loads of other platforms to keep me busy. I love my 3DS, Vita, PC, & PS3. The Wii U is just another platform that gives me more options.
I love the direction that they're going. Less focus on graphics, more focus on story & gameplay is a plus to me. On a side note, I CAN'T WAIT FOR ANIMAL CROSSING!!!! =D
I still like it because I know there are going to be some great games coming out soon for it. Monster Hunter 3 also helps because you can put so many hours into that game. Once Windwaker HD comes out I will be happy until the next smash bros or mario game.
Yes, I use my WiiU for porn everyday.
I like that I still don't have one.
I regret buying a Wii U. Enough said.
Hell yeah. You know how great it is to play on the gamepad while others watch Netflix on the tv. -- as a bribing device for the kids, it does the job better than tempting kiddos with a phone game. On a personal note i no longer throw fits of rage when the tv/cable remote is lost. As an aging gamer, Need for Speed is my choice of gaming lately, i play nintendoland almost daily with the kid and wife, its all good.
I love my Wii u still playing need for speed u and Lego city undercover
yes I am playing Lego city undercover and need for speed
I feel kind of mixed about my Wii U, which I got back in January. Each week I've been renting a different game to play for a week for it, but the only 2 games I've really enjoyed on it so far are Monster Hunter 3 and Arkham City, both of which are actually remakes. I've also enjoyed the 2 eShop games I bought for it, Puddle and Little Inferno, though neither of those gave you very much to do after you finished the game. There are lots of other games I played that were kind of fun, such as Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros, and Tekken, but none of those were really fun enough for me to want to keep. The 2 games I plan on buying next for my Wii U come out in September and October, which is still 5 months away. The 2 games are Arkham Origins and Rayman Legends.
Its just a down payment on Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and every other fantastic first party Nintendo game.
So yeah, im still satisfied.
