The lights are on
Over the past couple of years, Warner Bros. Montreal has been quietly recruiting top talent from the game industry to build a highly competitive studio. As head of production at Warner Bros. Montreal, Reid Schneider sees the studio as existing in a unique position to embrace the tumultuous future of the industry, with one foot in free-to-play games like Cartoon Universe and Lego Legends of Chima and another in AAA console development with Batman: Arkham Origins. So how does a studio known for free-to-play games and the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham City take up the mantle on one of the most beloved franchises in modern gaming?
Watch the video below to learn how the studio was built, how they recruited talent like creative director Eric Holmes (The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Prototype), and how they hope to honor Rocksteady's legacy.

I am sooo excited for this game!
i hope the wii u version is far away better looking than the ps3 and xbox 360 and not just a polished port
i believe in you now
They have impossibly big shoes to fill, but it sounds like they'll give it the old college try at least. Why the heck was Rocksteady not asked by Warner to do this in the first place, though?. . . In any case, I wish 'em luck, because another game like Arkham City would make my year.
i hope they do this series justice
I just want to see some gameplay, how they plan on incorporating challenge maps, and more on the "Dark Knight System"
I can't wait to see what they do with this game.
I hope that this game turns out great. It was nice to get a little insight into the creation of this studio and see how exactly they became the ones who would take on this franchise.
I hope with fingers crossed they put out a worthy game of the previous two. But I hope they don't go investing in needless multiplayer items or straying from established things inherit to the series. But I watched similar videos about Halo 4 and that became very C.O.D.fied to a point.
I'm very excited and I am growing confidence in WB Montreal's abilities, however if their new signature isn't good, bad things will happen
I think it would be cool if they had some quests that just involved Robin and his rivalry with Deathstroke.
Want to be excited for this, but there is something similar in the presentation of these dev videos that are like ACIII's and, well, that game could have been better the way it was hyped. Don't get me wrong, I still thought it was enjoyable, but the overall product could have been refined.
However, with WB Montreal's close connection to Rocksteady is an encouraging thought, and the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" mentality, because Arkham City is one of my favorite games ever.
I'm really wanting to see a trailer & gameplay now. This is sounding so exciting.
Love these videos. Really excited for Arkham Origins, they seem like theyre on the right track.
