The lights are on
Our April issue is now available, and that means readers are checking out our annual Game Infarcer parody feature. Just like our real magazine, the cover of Infarcer is a big deal, and now you can read about how it was created.
For 2013, the talented Zander Cannon (of Double Barrel) returned to bring our bizarre vision to life. Once again, he took a hilariously awful sketch (drawn by me, I'm sorry to admit) and transformed it into an excellent image that captures the heart of the joke.
To read about the artistic side of Cannon's process, check out his Making Of feature. When you're done, why not read about how Zander made our 2012 cover? How about the 2010 edition? You can even support his latest project, Heck!
Email the author Joe Juba, or follow on Twitter, Facebook, and Game Informer.
So you guys do awful sketches, and then get real artists to remake them with skill? That's a heckuva process, Juba. You guys should try that sometime with the Super Replay t-shirts. Like, have the standard, "Your original idea" contest, but then have another one where you guys describe (or sketch) your own ideas and have readers execute on that. That way, you could have multiple sets of winners. And more t-shirts!
My issue will probably come around the middle of the month.
my name is zander
I can't wait until my print issue comes (if it ever comes). Game Infarcer's just as good as the real GI sometimes, and this one looks like it's a doozy. Priceless artwork right there.
I love game Infarcer ...
Kinda looks like Reiner...lol
About time. TWD has turned into a Sacred Cow.
