Every month we travel to a development studio for our magazine's cover story. This month we had the honor of visiting Eidos Montreal to get a look at the development of their reboot of the much-beloved Thief franchise. I always like playing as thief/assassin characters. I haven't played any of the previous Thief games, but I hope this one proves itself among games like Dishonored.

I think Eidos found their specialty, they're really good at bringing back the dead. I've never played a thief game but I've heard details about the gameplay (what Dishonored wanted to be) and this is gonna kick SO much ass.

It kinda seems old game series are making huge comebacks.

I adored Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and I hope Thief is just as good. But with at least half-decent boss fights, pretty please?

I'm stoked but will remain reserved. Thief 2 is my favorite stealth game and I know this new one won't be the same as the original games but I have faith that Eidos Montreal will deliver a solid game.

Super excited for this. I feel like if Deus Ex:HR was the practice project for rebooting Thief, then this is going to be unbelievable, because HR was top notch.
