Based in Warsaw, Poland, CD Projekt Red has quietly become one of the most beloved studios in the gaming industry. The game development studio is housed under the larger CD Projekt company that also distributes Disney films in Poland and runs GOG.com. Based on the Polish novels, the Witcher license has given CD Projekt Red an opportunity to create mature RPGs that have garnered high critical praise and a devoted fanbase. Partnering with publishers like Atari and Warner Bros. in the past only to help distribute their games across the world, the studio puts a strong emphasis on creative independence.

I recently purchased Witcher 2 on sale on Steam, and I must say it is an enjoyable and impressive video game. Looking forward to the next installment.

Historically i have not had the best time with open world games. Hopefully this game will change my opinion. I loved the 2nd and am absolutely looking forward to this.

I laughed when he said something about competing with D2 - Witcher 2 was a much much better game even with the original short third chapter than D2.

I hope they make the gameplay more appealing because the only reason i haven't bought Assassins of Kings is because the combat looks kinda lame i know story is awesome but for me the combat looks not so fun lol

I enjoyed The Witcher 2, but I think it left some things to be desired. Like a true "open world", and those creature hunting missions were a bit same-old same-old. I hope CDPROJEKT realizes this and improve the next title...
