  • THis came out today O.o. Guess i have to pay more attention to release dates lol

    Also FIRST!!!
  • I love how Reiner is playing Devil's advocate here and trying to get Matt to do stupid things.

  • I didn't like Sly 2&3 nearly as much as the first game but, after watching this, I think I'll have to check out Thieves in Time. There is also the nice thing with the cross-saves. ^_^
  • Those stupid Defiance ads!!!!!!!
  • I am becoming "Defiant" towards Defiance.
  • Bentley: Any problems with that guy? Sly Cooper: He said he wanted to be buried in his Mom's pasta sauce. Bentley: Yeah... that's, uh, that's strange.
  • Wow... This game would be amazing for Vita.
  • I wonder when and why Sony made the decision to price the game at $40. Was it lack of preorders/general interest from consumers? Sales projections? There can't be much profit in it for them when they're basically giving us two versions of the game for $20 a piece.
  • Guys, do you even know what a "reboot" means?
  • Awesome game and good look at it guys, but dang - Matt, STAY FOCUSED! You just keep getting distracted from all your points, constantly. Just finish your sentences THEN talk about a new point. Jeez :) And Reiner, stop distracting him in the first place! Silly questions and all (Of course it's the same voice actors, man. Who would even think otherwise? You're trying to get poor Matt to slip up his game!) Man, it is good to have Sly back, btw! Besides the easiness (it may be my imagination, but they do WAY more camera fly-bys in this one. I don't need to see EVERYTHING, guys. I can explore. I think little kids can too, and even if they can't, they can click in the left stick), the game is fantastic. Truly cranks everything up to 13, like a proper sequel should. The animation quality in particular is a MASSIVE upgrade from Sucker Punch's stuff; those guys always did these weird animations. I call it, "pose-to-pose" animation; it's really weird. But the Sanzaru animators, and the new rigs for the new models, are so fluid and so well animated, it's astounding. The levels are loaded with detail and objects now, and they're still huge. The music is more energetic and dynamic, the little touches are more abundant, the cutscenes are also better produced... the whole game is clearly everything we loved from Sly 2 and 3, but refined, more focused and way better produced. I'm loving it! I can't believe Sony is dropping this without any advertising for just $40! Fools! Sanzaru can develop Sly any time! I hope we won't have to wait 8 years for the next one, though. When will we get Jak 5 now (seriously fanboys; stop ignoring Lost Frontier. And Sony, get that on PS2 Classics so people can play it)? If High Impact, Ready at Dawn and Naughty Dog won't do it - all the previous Jak game developers -, than maybe Sanzaru can take up THAT series too. Playstation 4 baby!
  • I would love to see a revival of the Platformer genre.

  • Sly Cooper 4 looks amazing.

Edit: I edited my original comment and deleted some thoughts about Defiance, but when I posted the comment, the website made me watch the terrible trailer again, so now I'm gonna let it fly. I really think Defiance looks not good. GI should get new trailers.
  • Picking this up today

  • Is it just me or does Helgeson seem to begin to talk about something in the game a lot but then stops when Reiner asks him a question or something happens in the game, but then he never goes back to what he was talking about to begin with?

  • I wish I could get this.

  • I'm so looking forward to picking this up.

  • This game looks so awesome.

  • It's good to see Sly back in action.

  • I can already tell that I'm going to love this game; I just gotta get through Dead Space 3 first.

  • Sly looks great. Gonna definitely pick it up one of these days.

P.S. : No more Defiance ads!!!
