The lights are on
Carl Greatrix and the rest of the model team at Traveller's Tales ensure that every Lego model in the games can be built by fans. Using official Lego pieces, they construct everything that you see in the game by hand or with digital recreations. It seems like a great job, but it's not without its challenges. Carl Greatrix has unknowingly spent his life training for this exact task. Starting out as a child and building increasingly complex Lego designs (check out his latest masterpieces on his Flickr account), Carl has contributed his craft to a majority of the Lego games.
Watch the video below to see some of his more impressive builds and learn what it takes to adapt and design Lego models for a living.

Imagine what that man could do with K'nex or an erector set.
This was my dream job when I was 8
Best job ever indeed!!
It looks like a lot of fun, but I can only imagine how difficult it can get.
That sounds like so much fun! I wish I could have a job like that.
This would be awesome...if I had any ability to make that kind of Lego art.
When I was younger, I wanted to be one of the guys who designed Lego models that people actually buy, but putting them into a game sounds even cooler.
That must be fun.
Man, that job would be awesome! It makes me sad I sold all my Lego sets.
