The lights are on
The strategy genre isn't super well served in the XBLA downloadable games space, but that's going to change with Skulls of the Shogun. Take a look at the turn-based strategy title in action and pick up some useful tips in this episode of Test Chamber.
The level below is taken from the middle of the game, and showcases a little bit of everything, from some quick tactics, the game's vibrant art style, funny cutscenes, and we also touch on multiplayer and some strategies for the game.
For more on the game, take a look at my review.

Looks pretty cool. I remember seeing this as a preview in the GI magazine a couple months back. Always been interested, but never sure if it would be my kind of game. Good test chamber :)
I really like the graphical style of this game, not quite sure on whether I'll play it or not though. Nice Test Chamber as always though. :)
Very nice.
Reiner's right, being undead AND having to be drafted into battle AGAIN really does suck. Glad I'm not a shogun. . .
Wonderful Test Chamber! Skulls of the Shogun looks very cool. The graphical style looks gorgeous and the gameplay seem very tight. I really need to check this game out.
This is the first time I've heard someone playing a game say "So, let's haunt that rice paddy." This seems like an alright strategy game. Has a decent, unique art style and a sense of humor.
I saw a developer demo-ing this at a convention on X-Play a couple years ago in 2011, so it's been worked on for a while.
does anyone know if you have to buy it for two platforms or if you buy it for one, it will also be available on your phone?
This looks pretty cool. Very funny and a great aesthetic.
This looks really cool! I'm always looking for more strategy games!
those defiance ads are getting annoying... especially since that show looks turrible. waaaay too pandering to the gamer crowd.
Looks different but cool.
Neat looking game, might have to pick this one up down the road. Glad to see Matt K. on a Test Chamber, thanks for the Game Informin!
Really cool looking arcade game. I would not mind checking this game out! Really neat features. Good Test Chamber.
