The lights are on
Developer Visceral Games and Electronic Arts gave Dead Space fans early access to the Dead Space 3 demo, as long as you raised your hand and yelled, "me!" when they were taking e-mail addresses. That demo was made available today, so we decided to jump back into Isaac's boots and mask to start taking out Necromorphs.
The demo offers online co-op play, a chance to play with the weapon creation tools, and a surprisingly meaty chunk of the single-player. We explored the latter two.
Dead Space 3 releases February 5, and if you weren't able to gain early access to the demo, it will be available to everyone on January 22.

Looking forward to seeing this after class. Hope to see some Unitologist ass-kicking in the demo.
NEED.
"If this is lost planet, you could shoot that."
This basically is.
I'm so excited for this game, but it pains me to see Kyle play..... >.<
Weapon custimization looks promising, but having it co-op means more open spaces, which probably means fewer scares. :P
The game is looking really good, I still need to pre-order this one. It can't come out soon enough.
Can't wait for it!
Looks pretty awesome! I REALLY need to play through the Dead Space games...
i recommend trying the demo it was fun, the weapon crafting system seems very promising, and the atmosphere dead space is known for is still there. Isaac moves very similar to how he did in dead space 2 its not like gears of war.
I had a great time with this demo. Tight controls and it felt more suspenseful than any entry in the franchise to date, which is saying a lot considering this game's pedigree. The weapon crafting really adds a whole new layer to the gameplay and gave me a sense of control of some sort, in a situation so overwhelming that it seems guaranteed that death can not only get you from any and every angle, but will in fact do so inevitably. Great tension, man.
Looks great
Nice.
This game looks hardcore!
