During the sea change from 2D to 3D gaming, Nintendo set incredibly high bars with their two flagship series. Mario set the standard for 3D platforming with the stellar Super Mario 64, and Link transitioned into 3D with equal grace. Many gamers (including myself) consider Ocarina of Time to be one of the greatest games of all time, and with good reason. Almost fifteen years since its 1998 release, we decided it was time to take a look back at the classic.

Not a Super Replay? Just a Replay isn't enough for this game. Nevertheless, this is gonna' be a good Replay. I never expected this.

EDIT: And if this game is somehow too long for a Super Replay, you guys should do Majora's Mask.

Just watched two "Super Replays" of this during AGDQ, one in 25 minutes and a 100% run in 6 hours.

Anyway the more Ocarina the merrier, can't wait to see the Replay crew tackle this game!

Glad you guys finally got around to doing this one... even if it isn't a Super Replay. ...when can we expect Majora's Mask to show up? Never did beat that one, but it was pretty amazing back in the day.

It's not a Super Replay, but any Replay is a good Replay, I guess. I still really want to see a Super Replay of a 3D Zelda game.

Finished this again a couple months ago with the 3DS version, and it still holds up as one of my top 10 games of all time. How many games let you play a musical instrument to a bunch of happy frogs on a tree stump?

Anyone who enjoyed the slapfest should watch the GoldenEye segment from the recent Extra Life marathon. There was some goofy commentary in that, including replacing words in Bond movie titles with the word "slap"

For me, this was the last Zelda game that I played that I truly enjoyed. Never really cared for those that followed. Perhaps this game spoiled me. Should have made this a super replay.

Best game! Too bad I'll never play another Zelda since Nintendo has gone derp since the Wii, not saying the Zeldas themselves are bad, but the systems they're on are bad.

My favorite game as well. Pretty easily, actually. I was 31 when it came out, and still am all nostalgic about it. I dig listening to the sountrack on youtube when I'm noodling around on the 'net (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmDkhNz0JQw among others). I even like the goofy N64 controller.

I thought I was pretty good at OoT, then I saw a speed runner playing it for a charity event. Holy crap. These guys know every glitch and trick. I can't imagine being so obsessed with something. But I guess if you're going to be obsessed, there are worse things to obsess about.

Oh yeah, nice BOOB, DUDE.
