Sometimes they're entertaining, and sometimes they make you want to throw your controller across the room in frustration, but any way you look at it, glitches are an ever-present part of the gaming experience. Despite thousands of hours of play testing and millions of lines of code, almost no game is safe from the occasional technological breakdown. We combed the web to find video evidence of the most egregious and laughable errors. Here are the most notable gameplay glitches of 2012.

The Max Payne video is one of the most epic things ever!
The most frustrating glitch of this year IMO is the stupid Black Ops 2 PS3 glitch that causes the sound to go and occasionally freezes the system, forcing u to do a hard reset.
"My dog is barking at me, can you hear him he's horny too!" Oh man, the guy in the first video was too funny.
That looked like real life soccer to me with a lot of flops.
The Sniper Elite one isn't very unique (or should I say UNNIIC) I've had a very similar if not identical glitch in dozens of games. My favorite would have to be the Dishonored one though.

the only medium where you can have fun and pain when no one expected it.
Bioware has had that Mass Effect glitch going since the first Knights of the Old Republic. They probably just think it's funny.
I wish real sports ran on some of EA's engines.

Okay, that video was pretty funny, but it wasn't FIFA 13.
FIFA 13 was released on September 25th 2012, and that video was uploaded on November 1st 2011.
So..... was the real FIFA 13 as glitchy?

Surprised XCOM isn't up there. Had one of my characters disappear completely last night.
