The lights are on
We are getting the heck out the Game Informer offices because it's time to celebrate the holidays, and catch up on all those video games we have been putting off all year.
Tim Turi: Over the holiday break I’m hoping to play both new and old favorites. I really want to get together with my cousin, who helped introduce me to gaming at an early age, and play a bunch of old Genesis and Super Nintendo games. I want to finally beat Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, and Dishonored. Street Fighter X Mega Man also has me itching to go back to the classic series quite a bit. Oh! I think I’m getting a Wii U for Christmas, too, so I may be playing some Nintendo Land with friends
Jeff Marchiafava: I’ll be using the holiday break to catch up on the best games of 2012. Including Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, and hopefully finally finishing XCOM: Enemy Unknown. I also have a couple of games I’m expecting as Christmas gifts, like Valkyria Chronicles and Tropico 4. Sounds like someone is going to be a smarty pants in the New Year.
Kyle Hilliard: After bouts of sickness both personally and from other members of my household, I am looking forward to a break of scaled back responsibilities, hanging out with the family, and lots of video games. I have games that I still need to finish like Call of Duty: Black Ops II, some I need to start like Far Cry 3, and I have double experience vouchers for Halo 4 that are just wasting away doing nothing. I also have plans to watch a lot of James Bond movies.
Joe Juba: I still haven't finished a bunch of games that I had hoped to by this point, but that's not going to stop me from starting up a new one! I grabbed a copy of Dragon's Dogma, so over the holidays I'm hoping to dive into that one. I'll also be playing an assortment of mobile games, because it's easier to do that when you're surrounded by family.
Andrew Reiner: My holiday break is once again dedicated to 100 percenting a few of this year's releases. The first game on this list is Far Cry 3. I'm going for all of the idols and achievements. Next up is Sleeping Dogs. I loved the hell out of this game, and can't wait to see what the DLC has to offer. Borderlands 2 is the final game on this list. I already have the new DLC, and hope to finish all of the campaign and DLC missions before I return to work in early January. Happy holidays and happy gaming, everyone! Be safe and warm!

ME3,Halo 4,AC3 and far cry 3 when I get it for Christmas. Also I want to see Django Unchained and watch loads of movies.
I just got a 3DS for $90 at a local game store, so I'm gonna be playing a lot of The World Ends with You, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. I may also play some Black Ops II multiplayer because my 360's network adapter magically decided to start working again.
When I am not working..ick...holidays will be finishing Darksiders and getting into Sleeping Dogs.
I'll be trying my hand @ your guys awesome Hitman Xmas Challenge along with playing more AC3 (trying to 100% it) & maybe some more Just Cause 2 & IL-2 Sturmovik.
Depending what I get for Christmas I might be playing Far Cry 3 too.
Playing some more Halo 4 and I'm expecting Far Cry 3 as a present so I'm really looking forward to that.
Just got my brand new WiiU! So far all I have is Nintendoland, but I'm sure that come Christmas that will change.
When I was younger Christmas always meant getting a new Pokemon game so I'm celebrating by playing Pokemon LeafGreen. Also bought Max Payne 3 so that one's getting some play, along with finishing Dragon Age Origins, Sonic Chronicles: TDB and trying to triple platinum the Jak and Daxter collection. Interspersed will be forced interaction with my family, who I plan to ignore while drinking and playing on my DS. Because it's Christmas and, deep down, I'm doing this for the children.
Happy Holidays everyone.
I will be enjoying sampling some Black Ops 2, XCOM: enemy unknown, Assassins Creed III, Dark Souls, Risen 2, and The Witcher 2. (haven't played any of these yet- waiting for Santa to bring the boom)
I will be playing many games including whatever I might get come Tuesday. I also will be playing a little of Resistance: Burning Skies, Sly 3, Dead Space, some Bioshock (survivor difficulty is a $^$^#), and Resistance 3.
I just cant stop playing Far Cry 3, definitely one of the best games this year
I plan to complete ACIII, Black Ops 2 , dishonored and Halo 4 campaign co-op. I am not sire if I will get any new games for Christmas, which isn't really a bad thing I have such a big backlog. I might download some dlc, I haven't played any for Mass Effect 3 and I need to get the Skyrim dlc.
Finally going to get around to MGS 4 and GTA 4 (I know) seeing as Ground Zeroes and GTA 5 are my two top 2013 games. In terms of newer stuff, Sleeping Dogs, Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed. Might also download Journey.
I'll be playing some more Halo 4, Mass Effect 3, and Minecraft multiplayer (I finally specialized in Halo 4). After Christmas, I'll hopefully have a few new games like Far Cry 3 and Borderlands 2 to sink into as well. Also my dad mentioned that he wanted to re-watch The Lord of the Rings trilogy before we go see The Hobbit, and I'll be happy to watch it with him.
Dark Souls, the Walking Dead, and Dishonored for me -
I'm also going to see the Hobbit for a second time (it is much better than the critics would lead you to believe).
Have a happy and safe holiday, All~
