  • Yay!
WAIT WHERE IS ZERO ESCAPE!? NOOOOOO! :( dang it.
...why is it listed under action GOTY? It's not even an action game, it's a puzzle game...
And ZE isn't under hand-helds either...:(
Well, since ZE wasn't listed, I put my GOTY as Xenoblade.
  • Sweet! I think ME3 takes the cake for me.
  • It's a close tie between XCOM and Borderlands 2 for me.

  • ME3 for me :)
  • Borderlands 2 for me
    Best downloadable Journey

Wish there was a way to omit a question due to not have played some of the games. It would make it much more accurate.
  • Far Cry 3 all the way. No contest. Disagree? The critics don't. Highest rated shooter of 2012.

Edit - Walking Dead is listed under action? Kirby not listed under wii exclusive?
  • Either halo 4 or me3 for me
  • Where was Jetpack Joyride? Oh well.
  • I hate voting... since I never get to play every game on that list, I don't have a valuable perspective.
  • Lets see...
    Dust: an Elysian tail
    Dust: an Elysian tail
    Dust: an Elysian tail
    Dust: an Elysian tail

Oh, yeah I guess Rayman Origins would be my favorite platformer.
For Competitive multiplayer I chose Halo 4, and Cooperative I chose Borderlands.

But yeah, pretty much Dust: an Elysian tail across the board.
I hate to shower one game with so much praise, but it's not like Konami is interested in giving us that experience anymore with the Casletvania games. Withdraws man, withdraws...
  • Well, it took a while but i voted XD mainly ACIII, Borderlands 2 and Planetside 2
  • Either halo 4 or me3 for me
  • I don't think anything I voted for is going to win. GOOOOOO UNDERDOGS!
  • Nice! Assassin's Creed 3 is my GOTY pick. CoD: Black Ops 2 is my pick for best Shooter.
  • I didn't see Persona 4 Golden in there, but they had some games I played before, too bad they didn't have a none option.
  • Walking dead is honestly one of my favorite games of all time . It had it all Good graphics, good gameplay and the greatest story I have ever experienced in a game. Without a doubt it is my GOTY.
  • No "Most Anticipated Game"? cough gtav cough last of us cough
  • Borderlands 2 for me, although Facry 3 is likely to be a strong runner-up come the end of this week.

  • huh.....i played very few of these.
  • Not many titles really felt that fresh to me this year. A lot of sequels, like any year, but not many good new properties in the retail console space. I guess i have to give credit to XCOM for taking us out of the generic action/shooter genre for a bit. This year really didn't have a dark horse for me (or Dark Souls lol) that represented the unique vision of a talented designer. XCOM i guess is the closest it came to that for me this year. Edit: Much respect to Dishonored, I just didn't like that game nearly as much as XCOM.
