The lights are on
The Behemoth, the creators of downloadable favorite Castle Crashers, have a new game on the way. BattleBlock Theater is all about working with a friend to complete puzzling platforming levels. It also has a chaotic, 4-player arena mode which pits players against one another in creative competitive platforming games.
Adam Biessener and I got the chance to sit down and play a healthy dose of BattleBlock Theater during The Behemoth's recent office visit. While we weren't allowed to capture any of that footage, we did have a nice little reminiscent chat about the fun.
BattleBlock Theater is due out on 360 next year.

This looks cool and all, but I want more Alien Hominid!
castle crashers is literally one of my favorite games ever. Ive been waiting for those guys to make a new game for a while now and am so glad its coming along. Cant wait to try it out!
I hadn't heard from this game in a while, I was starting to get worried. Looks unique to say the least.
I've been waiting for this game for some time. I'm glad it's still in production. It was slated to release this, or a last year, but either way I hope the extra time on it means it's going to be nicely polished and fun to play.
I can't wait.
I'm very excited for this. Long live the Behemoth!
I have been waiting for this game for around 2 - 3 years. It looked fun, and I simply just adore all of Behemoths games. Just cannot wait for 360 release...blarg..what time...gah! I want NOW!
Im frustrated at behemoth because for the past couple months its been ALL castle crasher related.
I've been waiting for this for so long, I need it now!
I've actually been looking forward to this particular game...
Still bummed that a glitch prevented me from getting the hat achievement in Alien Hominid (though that probably got patched).
Also bummed that Castle Crashers lost my save one time.
But not bummed that this game still exists!
Looks Little Big Planet-esque.
