The lights are on
We already reviewed Wii U launch title ZombiU. Despite already sharing our opinion on the game, we thought it would be a good idea to show you what to expect if you pick it up and how the GamePad's features are used.
Join Jeff Cork, intern Mike Mahardy, and myself as we sit down with Ubisoft's zombie apocalypse games. I touch on some of my frustrations with the game's controls scheme and concepts, but we also discuss local multiplayer.

Tim said he didn't like the game because of it being too hard and having bad controls. Isn't that what the classic Resident Evil games used to be?
oh. hmm... bad timing on controls is bad.
ZombiU is definitely a love it or hate it type of game. I think it looks pretty good--not in a graphical sense, but it looks pretty scary and has enough interesting ideas to make up for the repetitive combat.
This will probably be pretty cheap by the time I get a Wii U next year, so I'll still check it out.
It has gotten some good reviews.
I thought this game was supposed to be the best Wii U game. And it sucked.
It looks sooo boring
It's a shame this guy in the video gets paid to review games. He is just so wrong about the scanner, you can honestly just hold the Wii U controller in your lap and scan the entire room with the right stick. The poor combat also makes sense. Most people would not be able to defend themselves in this situation. Now what would of been cool if every once in awhile when you died and came back you may be a person that is stronger.....or weaker. Also since when did we start judging how good a game is based on graphics?
Great Test Chamber. I was really hoping this game would be much better than what was shown. I was really looking forward to playing this game, but after seeing the episode I'm very much meh now. I might rent it.
That pic is so creepy. Way to freak me out guys
I like the scanning feature, it's looks realistic and adds a new element to looting. I say I like the game, but can't get into it like I am with Mario or Darksiders. It's great how suspenseful it is, but at the same time a bit frustrating and not rewarding enough to make me have that itch to play it. Definitely glad I bought it day one though.
I think I'll stick with Dead Island thank you. Creepy starter image by the way...
I still want to play this game. But I gotta get a Wii U first. IF THEY'D EVER HAVE THEM IN STOCK!
It looks pretty. The atmosphere would get old after a while I think.
This game doesn't look too bad. I am just worn out of these zombie games. Except for Dead Island. I can't wait for Riptide. Good look at the game. Only bad thing I would have to say about it is the fighting. Good Test Chamber.
