The lights are on
December is drawing near, so we're all trying to cram in as many of the great games we missed before 2013 rolls around. Halo 4, XCOM, Persona 4 Golden, Dishonored, and advance copies of Far Cry 3 are all at the top of the list. AHL games and car stereos will be second tier priorities. Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm going back to XCOM. After failing twice and a negative outlook on my third Ironman game, I needed to take a break. Now I'm back at it and determined to kick alien butt or something stupid like that. Also, I'll be checking out the 3DS version of Epic Mickey ahead of time. It has been one of my most anticipated games of the year, and I'm very curious to check it out.Jason Pfitzer: Getting my old stereo in my car swapped out for a phat beat-blasting new one. Should help make the commute to work more tolerable. In other news, I'll be spending a large majority of the weekend playing around with the new League of Legends Season 3 changes on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) server. So many new things to learn!Kimberley Wallace: Since the NHL can’t get its act together, I’ve decided to go to an AHL game this weekend. The Blackhawks’ farm team, the Ice Hogs, are facing off against the Wild’s Aeros. I need to get my hockey fix somewhere. Gaming wise, I’m alternating between Assassin’s Creed III and Sleeping Dogs. I’m enjoying the latter a bit more. Netflix sent me Moonrise Kingdom and The Amazing Spiderman, so that’s also in my plans. But mostly, I’m looking forward to sleep! My Persona 4 Golden addiction got the best of me this month, and I mean that in the best way possible.Jeff M: This weekend I’ll be trying to finish up my GOTY contenders, which means playing more Dishonored, Far Cry 3, and Halo 4. I’d also like to blast through The Walking Dead: Episode 4, in order to be ready for next week’s season finale. So many great games, so little time!Mike Mahardy: I’ll be playing more Halo 4 this weekend, along with Resident Evil Revelations. Both are awesome, so I’m enjoying swapping between the two. I might start a Classic Iron Man playthrough in XCOM as well, if I can muster up the courage that is.
Kyle Hilliard: I think we can all be honest here. I have Assassin's Creed III, Borderlands 2, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, Resident Evil 6, and a ton of other games sitting in my queue, but I am just going to play Halo 4. I can't help it.
This weekend I'll be doing more of the same, slightly procrastinating a tad bit more about certain work that needs to be done, and envying everybody with the advance copies of Far Cry 3.
I'm still waiting for an All-Stars Racig Transformed demo on the PS3 and Vita, but I'll be busy in Escalation mode in Fall Of Cybertron. Hopefully, I'll earn more trophies.
Well today is kinda sorta the beginning of my Thanksgiving break so this weekend I plan on some more Halo 4 MP. Also picked up Dragon Age Origins for the second time so hopefully this time I'll actually make it through the whole thing. Other than that I've been trying to pick games I need to go back and finish achievements on and so far Silent Hill: Downpour is the most likely candidate. Oh and also Bastion too since I picked up during the Xbox live anniversary sale yesterday.
I plan on playing more Assassin's Creed III, and probably more Black Ops 2 than I expected before this week. Enjoying it more than I expected, with the little changes to Scorestreaks being a big plus in my books.
I'll being playing the lesser known indie title Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Playing some original BlOps as I can't quite get the cash together for BlOps 2 yet, probably some ACIII, Borderlands 2 with my wife, and I need to finish XCOM before the year's over. We'll see what I've got time for this weekend.
Lego: Lord of the Rings
Torn between getting the new Cod and Paper Mario games. I know i'd play cod more but i have Halo to play and i need some more games to validate getting a 3ds.
Taking it easy this weekend - gotta mentally prepare myself for next week. I'm not looking forward to Black Friday (well, 8pm Thursday now); I'm gonna have to head out to pick up a bunch of games I've been sitting on the fence for deals for. XCOM, Dishonored, Sleeping Dogs, Epic Mickey 2, Transformers FoC, Darksiders II perhaps... ugh. Gotta take it easy now, because NEXT weekend will be bananas.
Just gonna chill and play some arcadey racers. Split/Second and Ridge Racer Unbounded mostly. Y'know - the GOOD ONES this generation. (Suck it NFS and Burnout. Stupid aimless open world and obnoxious autolog bullsh**)
I was going to be playing Halo 4 and Black Ops II, but my best friend and one of my girlfriend's friends both decided to have weddings this weekend. So instead of kicking ass on my 360, I guess I'll be playing my Vita whenever I can. I hate wearing tuxedos.
I got work :( My only day off is Friday but that means more money to buy games.
Play Halo, Dark Souls, put off Java assignment that has to be turned in Monday.
cant wait for P4G!!!
Planning on playing some Divinity II and playing Borderlands 2 with my bro. Besides that, I'll be doing homework and writing.
I plan on starting a new character in my favorite TES game, Morrowind. Its been a while since I played and after playing Skyrim last year and for several months after that I realized how much better Morrowind was, now I just got to find some good mods to download that don't break my game.
My gaming time is limited this wk end as I have a Holly Fair tomorrow with my church a pretty big event. After that I plan on Need for Speed Most Wanted, paper mario lego lord of the rings vita and what ever else I can fit in. Going to pick up my copy of Epic Mickey this Sunday after church and in between all that sleep lol its going to be a busy wk end looking forward to this upcoming Wednesday that is my next down time.
Since the high demand of the Wii-U forced me to get mine from an online retailer, I will have to wait for mine until Monday:(
So, I will sooth my pain with the exquisite Halo 4 and probably some charming Paper Mario Sticker Star or Layton when I'm out of the house.
One my 2nd play through of Dishonored. Great game and love to see what I missed.
Just finished my second play through of Dishonored. This time around I didn't kill or alert a soul on the hardest difficultly. There were some frustrating parts, but I never had to restart a level and paid close attention to the ques. Not sure why others had so much trouble although they could tell you as soon as you alert someone that you failed. The rest of this weekend is for Halo 4 legendary and AC3 multiplayer.
I'll be playing Halo 4 multiplayer most of this weekend but I do hope I can get time to finally start Cod Black Op2 campaign and/or finish Assassin's Creed III.
