The lights are on
In our first exclusively junk food-related episode of Replay, we decided to take a look at a couple of 16-bit licensed platformers. For the main segment, we popped in Cool Spot, a 7up-themed game that several of us have fond memories of. Is it actually still good? Well, have any of you bought 7up in the last decade?

I recently had my first can of 7-Up in fact, thinking it would just be another relatively same-tasting derivative of Sprite/Sierra Mist...Bleh...wasn't at all what I thought it was going to taste like. On a more related note, since I now have access to all NES, SNES and Genesis games with this new emulator console I got back in early September, I might have to find this.
These games remind me of a ps1 game I had when I was a little kid. It was called m&m shellshocked, and I knew, even as a kid, it was a really bad game. They should totally replay that!
I actually like 7up. This episode was great though. Good stuff guys.
I work at a Grocery Store for 5 years and literally never sen anyone buy a bottle of 7UP.
They're laughing so hard that they cough. Hilarious.
The last i had 7up was last year.
You guys are crazy...
7up is a THOUSAND times better than Sprite or any citrus soda on the market...
When did GI's player start showing ads?
Cool Spot looks pretty fun. As for 7UP, I've never had it before. I never really cared. And I still don't :p.
7up is gross. I love Sprite though.
oh the 90s
Squirt is amazing I love grapefruit soda.
I actually like 7up much more than Sprite or Mountain Dew. It has a good burning taste sensation, kind of like hard liquor. Cool Spot the game is pretty bad, though; games that force you to backtrack on an item hunt stink.
Speaking of stinking...Chester the Cheetah. That game is really, really bad.
Haha I love replays of games I've never heard of. Always entertaining!
This is awesome.
I had only a few games for my Megadrive, this was one of them. I liked it very much :).
